REIKI, which is Japanese for "universal life force", originated in Japan in the early 1900’s.

The technique is initiated with the therapist's hands above the body or very lightly upon the body, fully clothed.

Assessment of the energy field guides the practitioner to areas of blockage which are released through the activation of ki (life force).

The application of vital energy dissolves obstructions in the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual realms, restoring optimal balance to the body’s energy centers. Reiki is a gently penetrating tool for all constitutions and is especially suitable for highly sensitive persons, individuals who could be negatively triggered by touch, and clients who are recovering from an injury or surgery that calls for minimal or no direct contact.

Reiki treats chronic pain, digestive issues, stress-related dysfunctions, depression, anxiety, and offers deep energetic and chakral release and alignment.
